    Wooden Stick Festival, LASNAI Tournament, Room2Smile, and More

    This will be a very busy week for Upstate lacrosse, with events Thursday through Saturday at the Tsha’ Thoñ’nhes (Onondaga Nation Fieldhouse) / Outdoor Box complex, at the Carrier Dome on Sunday, and also on Sunday at Le Moyne College, Liverpool, and Webster.

    It begins Thursday on the Onondaga Nation as the Wooden Stick Festival opens at 10AM, with speakers and celebrations throughout the day, ending with the showing of Spirit Game: Pride of a Nation at 6PM. The Wooden Stick Festival continues through Saturday. You can find the entire weekend schedule here.

    The first game of the Lax All Stars North American Invitational Tournament begins at 11:20AM at Tsha’ Thoñ’nhes (Onondaga Nation Fieldhouse). The Syracuse Stingers take on the Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation. Another twenty games will be played Thursday spread between the Field House and the Outdoor Box, and games continue Friday and Saturday. The entire LASNAI Tournament schedule can be found here

    On Sunday there is an International Scrimmage set for the Carrier Dome at Syracuse University.  


    11 am Iroquois Nationals vs Team Israel
    12:30 pm Team Israel vs Syracuse University
    1:30 pm Intermission
    3 pm Syracuse University vs Iroquois Nationals
    Tickets will be $10.00 (Ticket go on sale Sept. 25 at 10:00 am via this Ticketmaster link)
    Parking will be $5.00


    Also on Sunday, at Le Moyne College, is the Room2Smile Tournament. The participating teams and schedule: 

    10am - OCC vs Cortland

    11:45am - LeMoyne vs Cortland

    1:30pm - RIT vs OCC

    3:15pm - LeMoyne vs RIT

    The Finger Lakes Lacrosse Tournaments at Everest Park on September 24, and October 7, are proud to announce that former Syracuse University 3 time All American and current professional lacrosse player Dylan Donahue will be hosting a shooting clinic as part of the tournaments.
