    from press release

ROCHESTER, NY - Sweetlax Lacrosse is proud to announce that three members of the 2018 graduating class have been named to the Under Armour All-American Team. Selected for this prestigious honor are John John Lombardi (Salisbury CT/Cornell University), Tanner Hay (Victor NY/University of Albany) and Chase Scanlan (IMG Academy FL/Loyola University). The Under Armour All-American Game, which is in its 13th year, features the Top 44 seniors across US and Canada. The game is played at historic Homewood Field on the campus of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and televised on ESPN on June 30th. The teams are divided into North and South Regions and is selected by Inside Lacrosse and a committee of some of the country's most knowledgable coaches, journalists and advisors.
All three boys have deep Upstate NY roots: Lombardi is an Irondequoit native, who played his 8th and 9th grade year at IHS before transferring to the Salisbury School. While at Irondequoit, Lombardi had 26g, 17a in 2014 and 38g, 15a in 2015 and was All-League both years. Since that time, Lombardi has been a staple of Nationally-Ranked Salisbury School Lacrosse Team. Previously a University of Michigan commit, John John will now attend Ivy-League, Cornell in the fall.
Tanner Hay of Victor NY is a 2x State Champion and member of Victor Lacrosse program. A University of Albany commit, Tanner has been a key to one of best defenses in the state. All-League in both 2016 and 2017, Hay was also named NYSSWA All-State in 2017. Tanner looks to help Victor to its 4th straight State Championship this spring!
