    from press release

Auburn, NY - The Auburn boys and girls lacrosse programs have teamed up with Champions for Life to host the Upstate Lacrosse Association opening weekend on June 16 and 17, 2017.

Two hundred teams from throughout Central New York will converge on Auburn over Father’s Day weekend, playing in 200 games of lacrosse at Auburn High School and at Everest Park in what will be one of the largest opening weekends in ULA history! Lacrosse players in kindergarten through eighth grade, along with their families, will be arriving in Auburn for this annual tournament on Friday, June 16. The first games start at 5:00 pm, with play lasting until sundown on Friday, and picking back up on Saturday morning, and lasting until Saturday around 5:00 pm. Over the course of the weekend, tournament directors estimate that 14,000 people will make their way to Auburn to enjoy the lacrosse festivities with their children.
