Beville to Lead New Club Team

Steve Beville, head lacrosse coach at Cortland State University, will be forming a new club lacrosse team this fall. The CNY Arrows will begin play this fall and continue into the summer season. The team will practice in the Syracuse area and will play in various tournaments throughout the year.

“This is something I have thought about doing for a few years and decided it was time to provide lacrosse players in Central New York with another option to enhance their game and prepare for the next level. I believe we will provide a unique opportunity for the athletes to practice, compete and learn under top level guidance.”

Several sessions will include lacrosse specific speed and quickness work, lacrosse specific strength consultations and college guidance sessions.

Beville has over 20 years experience as a NCAA coach was named NCAA national coach of the year in 2009, and has led the Red Dragons to three straight National Championship appearances and the National Championship this past season.
