Road Hawks all over the news in NCAA this week! From senior leadership, steady as she goes to energized freshman jump starting their team to victory.
Starting the with trio from the Big Red Cornell – Hearing Tom Trasolini name on ESPNU while watching Trasolini with his team mates Matt Sharkey, and Connor Entenmann.
Then just a bit north east in Orange Country Senior Tim Desko demonstrates an exciting shot sparking his team against Virginia with an amazing Lax shot and than putting up three points against St. Johns and the last point being the game winner. THANK GOD for some fast action lacrosse with Tim Desko at the helm. Thank you Tim you made my week!!
Then south to the Black Knight’s Home of our bravest, senior goalkeeper Zach Palmieri helped anchor the Black Knights' defense with eight saves over the Scarlet Knights in a one point game while Senior co-captain Devin Lynch tallies a couple points.
Just south east is West Hills John Zimmerman, freshman at Hamilton seeing all double digit minutes during games. Pretty good for a freshman.
Into Jersey land, home of Snookie not far from the shore Senior Captain Nick Zerrillo tallies A couple of points this past week with the energized goal in the 2nd half of the Lafayette game sparking his team to victory and again with an assist late in the game against the Black Knights and Road Hawk players Zach Palmeiri and Skaneateles Devin Lynch. While freshman Scarlet Knight Nardella keeps the X at a 50% draw.
To the Big Capital were there is no corruption running through the veins of the Bucc Man!!. After four years at Georgetown Bucci’ is solid enough to clean up the mess, especially hanging around good company with team mates Chris Nourse and Zack Guy. There is another trio. Freshman Joe Bucci (Ithaca, N.Y./Ithaca) made his first career goal an important one, breaking the tie midway through the fourth quarter. Bucci drove to the left and blasted a shot past the goalie with 9:04 remaining in the game to take a 10-9 lead. (Georgetown Web) While his teammate and Road Hawk Zack Guy puts up 2-1 and the Zorro like LPM Nourse makes life difficult for Harvard. What a game for the Hawks – Harvard’s Danny Eipp and Carl Zimmerman meat up with old Hawk team mates Bucci, Nourse, and Guy. No wonder it was a one point game!!! THAT BE SOME HAWK NATION GOIN ON and with Smart players to boot!!
Far west past the Canyon and into God’s Country one of the smartest Road Hawks starts his career seeing a great deal of time on the field and made is first career goal against Michigan. Mile High Sean Cannizzaro just starting to take the west by storm.
