Box Lacrosse is Back In Canandaigua!

The Greater Canandaigua Civic Center is having a box lacrosse league this summer. The league is open to boys players entering grades 1-12 in Fall 2013.

The schedule starts on June 24th. Games are played on Monday and Wednesday evenings until July 24th. The cost for the entire summer season is $35 for grades 5-12 and only $20 for grades 1-4.

Girls of Summer Classic to Host Eighty Teams June 8th and 9th

Over 1,200 players will visit Tully High School this weekend to participate in the Fourth Annual Girls of Summer Classic.

This “girls only” festival has grown quickly into an Upstate favorite and will be attended by youth, club, and high school teams from as far away as Albany and Buffalo.  The youth will play on Saturday and the JV and varsity teams will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of over thirty college coaches on Sunday.

Search Under Way for Division I Men's & Women's Lacrosse Coaches at UMass Lowell

Consistent with the University's upward trajectory, all athletic programs have been elevated to Division I as a member of the America East Conference, effective July 1, 2013.  As part of the transition to Division I, the University is starting men's and women's lacrosse and will begin competition effective the academic year 2014-15. New coaches are being sought immediately for both programs.
